All of our products are specially sourced palm oil free, natural and sustainable. Our body butter comes in a CLEAR glass jar. We like to encourage everyone to reuse afterwards. We try as much as possible to limit what we add to the landfills.
Our body butters are scented with essential oils. We keep the scent lighter, so it’s not overpowering.
The Jefferson is a light spice and musky scent.
Optiphen - This is a natural preservative, which is paraben and formaldehyde free.
BTMC 85- ( Behebtrimonium Chloride) is a conditioning agent and emulsifier that we source from Canada. It is palm oil free and derived from rapeseed oil (canola).
Benzoin Resin is balsamic resin from a species of trees. This resin has a sweet vanilla like scent. There is no such thing as a vanilla essential oil. Vanilla beans can not handle the heat for steam distillation. We love the scent benzoin resin gives our products.
Litsea Cubeba is an essential oil also known as May Chang. This essential oil smells remarkably like lemongrass essentail oil. True citrus essential oils loose their scent very quickly. Litsea Cubeba unlike them will retain its fragrant scent and it also does not cause photosensitivity. photosensitivity is when certain citrus essentail oils on skin are exposed to sunlight can cause a skin reaction.
