All of our products are specially sourced palm oil free, natural and sustainable. Most ingredients on the market are made with palm oil. So we do our research to find alternative sources and sometimes we have to get creative. Our body scrubs come in a clear glass jar. 'Our scrubs are emulsified so they won’t separate in hot temperatures. They also contain a small amount of soap which will leave the shower floor less slippery when used. We like to encourage everyone to reuse afterwards. We try as much as possible to limit what we add to the landfills.
Soy Wax 415 is a cosmetic grade wax. It contains naturally high amounts of stearic acid. Stearic acid is an emollient, which softens and smooths the skin. Stearic acid contains palm oil, so we use soy wax 415 as an alternative which is palm oil free.
OliveM 1,000 is a palm oil free alternative for emulsifying wax. We order this from a company in Canada that ensures it is palm free.
Optiphen - This is a natural preservative, which is paraben and formaldehyde free.
Benzoin Resin is balsamic resin from a species of trees. This resin has a sweet vanilla like scent. There is no such thing as a vanilla essential oil. Vanilla beans can not handle the heat for steam distillation. We love the scent benzoin resin gives our products.
